在阅读中我们常会遇到 “the way + 从句”结构。the way 作先行词，其后定语从句可用关系副词 that (常可省略) 或 in which引导。 （通常省略 that，the way 直接接从句） 。

例句：(选用简单例句)

The way (that ) you look at the problem is wrong.

The way in which you look at the problem is wrong.

你看待这个问题的方法是错误的。

We admired him for the way in which he faces difficulties.

We admitted him for the way (that) he faces difficulties.

我们钦佩他面对困难的态度。

the way + 定语从句 在句中通常用作主语、宾语、表语或状语。

作主语

The way you're doing it is completely crazy.

你这么个干法，简直发疯。

The way she behaved towards him was utterly ruthless.

她对待他真是无情至极。
